<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7Uz_N1S9gnNoFhaIoiGJFWAJ-mri0XR8RtTgCWSexDPPp08H4OQAGaF1nMPcZqLSbh5fckhKgvG7ho3DCpE7b56jjzJP8FgnWf1FQtJISm2My0VIL5luPryq1H7qAgmGce5GuS3_a92I/s1600/counciling.png" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Make the Most of Career Counseling:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I always get a kick out of watching those old "Star Trek" reruns in which the hyperemotional Dr. McCoy gets frustrated with the often-demanding Captain Kirk (Jim) and finally blurts out, "Damn it, Jim! I'm a doctor, not a miracle worker!"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
McCoy's declaration hits close to home in my work as a career counselor. We're not miracle workers either. All we can do is help our clients to the best of our ability, given what those clients do (or don't do) during the counseling process.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
If you're currently or considering working with a career counselor, how can you reap lasting benefits from the experience? There's no precise formula, but these tips will help make your voyage successful.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Think Participant, Not Recipient</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
If you take your car in for an oil change, you're in recipient mode. You show up, pay and then get out of the way while the technicians do the work.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
When you work with a career counselor, you need to step into participant mode. You can't expect to just show up, pay and then get out of the way while the counselor does all the work. You're required to be an active member of the team; if you don't participate, your counseling experience will almost certainly end in disappointment.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Have Realistic Expectations</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
You may think career counselors have all the answers. They don't, but they can help you work toward finding your own answers. They simply can't pull them out of a box and hand them to you.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Be Honest, Especially with Yourself</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It's easy to talk yourself into feeling, thinking or saying something that really isn't genuine. It happens daily in <a href="http://lahorehometution.blogspot.com/2016/04/make-most-of-career-counseling.html"><span style="color: blue;">career counseling</span></a> sessions as clients try to fight off a host of outside pressures (family, friends, teachers, society as a whole) to make their own decisions.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Career counseling sessions give you a safe place and time to express what you're really struggling with -- in your career and in the rest of your life, too. But you have to be completely honest if you're to have any hope of really working through your challenges.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Know What You Want to Accomplish</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
When I'm working with clients, I often hear them say things like, "I just want to gain focus," or "I need to get some direction in my life." Such statements make sense, but as a counseling client, you need to work with your counselor to make your goals more specific.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Why? Without goals: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It would be too easy for you and your counselor to simply talk and talk and talk without going anywhere. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
You won't know when you're done with the counseling process.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So if your counselor doesn't bring it up (although most will), insist that the two of you develop a plan for your work together. What exactly will you be doing, and why? And how will you know when you're finished?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It's OK to Think, But Do as Well</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Introspection -- thinking about your interests, skills, abilities, values, personality traits and goals -– is part of any sound career counseling process. But at some point, you need to start taking action, even if you don't have everything figured out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Paralysis by analysis is real. Don't let it happen to you.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Be Open to Challenge</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Most career counselors will offer you support and an empathetic ear. But the very best will also challenge you.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
My graduate school advisor called this technique "carefrontation," confrontation done in a caring way. When your career counselor challenges you – for example, by telling you you're saying one thing but doing another -- he isn't trying to be annoying. He's simply trying to help you find your truth.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Be a Smart Consumer</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It's possible that you and the counselor you choose won't click. That happens sometimes, and it's nobody's fault.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Your career counselor can't help you "to boldly go where no man has gone before," as Captain Kirk and the "Star Trek" crew did. But he can help you explore your options and make informed career decisions if you're willing to be an equal and sincere participant.</div>

Explorer the China with me<br />
<br />
In near past, if someone attempt to get the China visa. I am sure it was outlandish experience for a Pakistani. China is not offer individual visit visa for Pakistan’s.<br />
Tour operators usually demand 1.5 to 1 lac for business visa of China from Pakistan on fake documentation. Anyhow i went in to this jangle finally I got a legal way to visit China without spending any extra bribe (money to SO called tour operators). To economize my tour i need tour partners to explore China. Itinerary plan is not yet finalize.<br />
First finalize the name, ready passport<br />
Second waiting for invitation letter from China<br />
Third finalize the dates and itinerary plan<br />
To be transparent each and every payment in future will be made by individual.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgePjCiWWcYsgLAQB2nGJ62NdbnbH8Vvysd-96IF6P6Ug2ftRrei6_4GnmQwffHQStX8bVHB3PpTX9XMufM9tA5KtxhEbhIRf66jzBY6AVuFC6Pqwu2aYQ3HuCj9K3V79p6qSTkLaUM60s/s1600/career.png" /></div>
<br />
Here, then, are 10 tips to help you achieve successful career planning.<br />
<br />
1. Make Career Planning an Annual Event<br />
<br />
Many of us have physicals, visit the eye doctor and dentist, and do a myriad of other things on an annual basis, so why not career planning? Find a day or weekend once a year — more often if you feel the need or if you’re planning a major career change — and schedule a retreat for yourself. Try to block out all distractions so that you have the time to truly focus on your career — what you really want out of your career, out of your life.<br />
<br />
By making career planning an annual event, you will feel more secure in your career choice and direction — and you’ll be better prepared for the many uncertainties and difficulties that lie ahead in all of our jobs and career.<br />
<br />
2. Map Your Path Since Last Career Planning<br />
<br />
One of your first activities whenever you take on career planning is spending time mapping out your job and career path since the last time you did any sort of career planning. While you should not dwell on your past, taking the time to review and reflect on the path — whether straight and narrow or one filled with any curves and dead-ends — will help you plan for the future.<br />
<br />
Once you’ve mapped your past, take the time to reflect on your course — and note why it looks the way it does. Are you happy with your path? Could you have done things better? What might you have done differently? What can you do differently in the future?<br />
<br />
3. Reflect on Your Likes and Dislikes, Needs and Wants<br />
<br />
Change is a factor of life; everybody changes, as do our likes and dislikes. Something we loved doing two years ago may now give us displeasure. So always take time to reflect on the things in your life — not just in your job — that you feel most strongly about.<br />
<br />
Make a two-column list of your major likes and dislikes. Then use this list to examine your current job and career path. If your job and career still fall mostly in the like column, then you know you are still on the right path; however, if your job activities fall mostly in the dislike column, now is the time to begin examining new jobs and new careers.<br />
<br />
Finally, take the time to really think about what it is you want or need from your work, from your career. Are you looking to make a difference in the world? To be famous? To become financially independent? To effect change? Take the time to understand the motives that drive your sense of success and happiness.<br />
<br />
4. Examine Your Pastimes and Hobbies<br />
<br />
Career planning provides a great time to also examine the activities you like doing when you’re not working. It may sound a bit odd, to examine non-work activities when doing career planning, but it’s not. Many times your hobbies and leisurely pursuits can give you great insight into future career paths.<br />
<br />
Think you can’t make a hobby into a career? People do it all the time. The great painter Paul Gauguin was a successful business person who painted on the side. It actually wasn’t until he was encouraged by an artist he admired to continue painting that he finally took a serious look at his hobby and decided he should change careers. He was good at business, but his love was painting.<br />
<br />
5. Make Note of Your Past Accomplishments<br />
<br />
Most people don’t keep a very good record of work accomplishments and then struggle with creating a powerful resume when it’s time to search for a new job. Making note of your past accomplishments — keeping a record of them — is not only useful for building your resume, it’s also useful for career planning.<br />
<br />
Sometimes reviewing your past accomplishments will reveal forgotten successes, one or more which may trigger researching and planning a career shift so that you can be in a job that allows you to accomplish the types of things that make you most happy and proud.<br />
<br />
For more about accomplishments, read: Tracking and Leveraging Accomplishments.<br />
<br />
6. Look Beyond Your Current Job for Transferable Skills<br />
<br />
Some workers get so wrapped up in their job titles that they don’t see any other career possibilities for themselves. Every job requires a certain set of skills, and it’s much better to categorize yourself in terms of these skill sets than be so myopic as to focus just on job titles.<br />
<br />
For example, one job-seeker who was trying to accomplish career planning found herself stuck because she identified herself as a reporter. But once she looked beyond her job title, she could see that she had this strong collection of transferable skills — such as writing, editing, researching, investigating, interviewing, juggling multiple tasks, meeting goals and deadlines, and managing time and information — skills that could easily be applied to a wide variety of jobs in many different careers.<br />
<br />
For more about transferable skills, read: Transferable Skills.<br />
<br />
7. Review Career and Job Trends<br />
<br />
Everyone makes his or her own job and career opportunities, so that even if your career is shrinking, if you have excellent skills and know how to market yourself, you should be able to find a new job. However, having information about career trends is vital to long-term career planning success.<br />
<br />
A career path that is expanding today could easily shrink tomorrow — or next year. It’s important to see where job growth is expected, especially in the career fields that most interest you. Besides knowledge of these trends, the other advantage of conducting this research is the power it gives you to adjust and strengthen your position, your unique selling proposition. One of the keys to job and career success is having a unique set of accomplishments, skills, and education that make you better than all others in your career.<br />
<br />
For more about researching careers, review our Career Research Checklist.<br />
<br />
8. Set Career and Job Goals<br />
<br />
Develop a roadmap for your job and career success. Can you be successful in your career without setting goals? Of course. Can you be even more successful through goal-setting? Most research says yes.<br />
<br />
A <a href="http://lahorehometution.blogspot.com/2016/02/10-tips-for-successful-career-planning.html"><span style="color: blue;">major component of career planning</span></a> is setting short-term (in the coming year) and long-term (beyond a year) career and job goals. Once you initiate this process, another component of career planning becomes reviewing and adjusting those goals as your career plans progress or change – and developing new goals once you accomplish your previous goals.<br />
<br />
9. Explore New Education/Training Opportunities<br />
<br />
It’s somewhat of a cliche, but information really does lead to power and success. Never pass up chances to learn and grow more as a person and as a worker; part of career planning is going beyond passive acceptance of training opportunities to finding new ones that will help enhance or further your career.<br />
<br />
Take the time to contemplate what types of educational experiences will help you achieve your career goals. Look within your company, your professional association, your local universities and community colleges, as well as online distance learning programs, to find potential career-enhancing opportunities — and then find a way achieve them.<br />
<br />
10. Research Further Career/Job Advancement Opportunities<br />
<br />
One of the really fun outcomes of career planning is picturing yourself in the future. Where will you be in a year? In five years? A key component to developing multiple scenarios of that future is researching career paths.<br />
<br />
Of course, if you’re in what you consider a dead-end job, this activity becomes even more essential to you, but all job-seekers should take the time to research various career paths — and then develop scenarios for seeing one or more of these visions become reality. Look within your current employer and current career field, but again, as with all aspects of career planning, do not be afraid to look beyond to other possible careers.<br />
<br />
Final Thoughts on Career Planning<br />
<br />
Don’t wait too long between career planning sessions. Career planning can have multiple benefits, from goal-setting to career change, to a more successful life. Once you begin regularly reviewing and planning your career using the tips provided in this article, you’ll find yourself better prepared for whatever lies ahead in your career — and in your life.</div>

Lahore School of Economics 12th Annual International Conference<br />
TIME: Wed Mar 30 2016 at 09:00 am Add to calendar<br />
VENUE: Lahore School of Economics, Burki Road, Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan<br />
CREATED BY: Lahore School Economics Society<br />
EVENT DETAILS:<br />
“Productivity isn’t everything, but in the long run it is almost everything. A country’s ability to improve its standard of living over time depends almost entirely on its ability to raise its output per worker.”<br />
<br />
- Paul Krugman, The Age of Diminishing Expectations (1994)<br />
<br />
Productivity growth is the foundation of improvements in living standards and international competitiveness. Productivity improves as a result of producers’ efforts to do better in terms of cost as well as quality. And this entails tapping new technologies and finding innovative ways of producing and delivering what is produced. And that is what entrepreneurship (in the Schumpeterian sense) is all about.<br />
<br />
Subjects to be covered at the conference:<br />
<br />
1. Why productivity growth matters? Pakistan’s own experience in this respect. (The average productivity growth has been clearly low, but the average might hide a wide diversity of experience. The question then arises why/how some firms in the same industry are able to perform better than others.<br />
<br />
2. Productivity growth depends on investment in more productive/efficient equipment, introduction of new production techniques, and human capital, all that an entrepreneur is supposed to do. Causes of failure of entrepreneurship: macroeconomic management; failure of competition; financial policy/sources of financing/institutions discourage long-term investments. Are there any social determinants of entrepreneurship?<br />
<br />
3. Technology/innovation – demand side: Do Pak firms actively seek out new ideas, new technologies, talent and adapt themselves to changing circumstance.<br />
<br />
4. Technology/innovation – supply side (imitation/innovation are practically indistinguishable): Domestic R&D to create knowledge; import of foreign technologies through FDI, subcontracting etc.<br />
<br />
5. Can entrepreneurship be deliberately stimulated through policy and institutions?<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyWAXKKwg3BnUlOkulMxUvsBwvYFECRNLfdFr09Dz8HEwjP6RQ-xFKoFZKu0FvmEMiuChQnGj6R7TFX30DBzTTtHopmWwYGIHu0mQP7G4pa_g5SFseohKqZJc1bx68IeaJLZsWeYKSOrY/s1600/punctuality.jpg" /></div>
Attendance and punctuality play a huge role in increasing children's academic success. It's obvious that when students are not in class they miss out on information. And with the longer school day, one absence can cause a student to miss out on a wealth of knowledge. Studies show poor attendance is a red flag for student drop-out. When students miss school for no good reason, they usually lack the motivation to not only come to school, but to complete the work they missed from being absent. Too many absences can lead to a great deal of missing assignments and failed classes, which could eventually lead to students dropping out.<br />
<br />
Therefore, parents must teach their children the importance of being present in school. Having children practice presence and punctuality at school is great preparation for their future careers, where showing up at work on time will not only make them dependable, but will also grant them a paycheck. Read below to find out how to teach and encourage your children to have good attendance.<br />
<br />
Prioritize your child's attendance:<br />
<br />
As a teacher, I have heard many excuses for absences. One of the most difficult to hear is when children miss school because of parents' lack of planning. For example, some parents make their responsibilities their children's by having their kids stay at home to babysit a younger sibling or care for a sick elder. When parents do this, they hinder their children's educational success. This is especially true if a child is already academically behind. Keeping him or her at home to watch a younger sibling makes school even more difficult, causing the child to complete multiple days of assignments upon their return instead of just completing a day's worth of work. To help their children instead of hindering them, parents must do the sometimes rigorous work of finding alternate forms of child and elder care, to better ensure their children's academic progress.<br />
<br />
Model presence and punctuality:<br />
<br />
If you generally show up for appointments 10 minutes late or neglect to show up at all, do not expect your children to be Mr. and Ms. Punctuality. Remember that your best teaching is done by example, so walking into a show after the first scene or leaving for work five minutes before your shift begins tells your child that being punctual is not important, even when you know that being on time is a key factor in mastering an interview and impressing a potential investor. If you know that you are habitually tardy, think about how your poor attendance could be affecting your children's career readiness, and make a commitment to teach them well, by example.<br />
<br />
Teach strategies that lead to punctuality:<br />
<br />
There are problems that lead to legitimate tardies—a late bus, misplaced shoes, a crowded bathroom. Nevertheless, such troubles can be mitigated with appropriate strategies, strategies that must be explicitly taught to your children if you would like for them to be <a href="http://lahorehometution.blogspot.com/2016/06/teach-your-child-to-be-punctual-and.html"><span style="color: blue;">present and punctual</span></a>. For example, preparing clothes the night before can save time when a bathroom is shared.<br />
<br />
Waking up a half hour early allows for extra time to either sit and watch a television program or find a lost shoe before walking out the door.<br />
<br />
Children do not come equipped with these strategies. Therefore, parents must plainly teach them such things, so they have the appropriate tools to use in order to increase their chances for perfect attendance.<br />
<br />
Allow natural consequences for absences and tardiness:<br />
<br />
Finally, take a no-excuses approach with your children when it comes to non-emergency absences and tardies. Give your children natural consequences that show them the effects of not arriving when expected. For example, when they show up late for dinner, let them be the last to take from the serving bowl or make them eat the least desired piece of meat. If they are late to a game in which they play, make them watch from the sidelines instead of playing on the team.<br />
<br />
When they forget to show up at a family event, do not fill them in on what happened and show pictures. Have them go and visit each individual member of the family on their own in order to set things right. Such consequences will prepare your children for the real world, where they really do miss out on learning, opportunity, and pay because they did not show up.<br />
<br />
Teach your child that good attendance is not just something that happens. It takes planning, preparation, and persistence, but eventually it pays off. Ensure that your child will reap the rewards.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="238" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix8ZRgcyqpcONfZIlF-T1suB-E_MSd1LaiqeTin4sJxZ5ef-7LlBS4Zv3ogyJItH73heG9CNNGBx0QOVxz8BiraX3Hbk3cw6L6ifivf85cRFru2BHafxwqFzKdU2aXtRmBAv3PD9cwPEk/s320/pupil.jpg" width="320" /></div>
10 Things Teachers Want To Know About Your Kids<br />
Teachers have hopes and goals for creating good relationships with students and parents. To start off the new school year right, there are some basics that most teachers want to know about their students—their learning habits, likes and dislikes, and any circumstances at home that might affect their ability to learn.<br />
To help you out, this is my list of things we school teachers want to know about your kids to help your children perform to their utmost.<br />
1. Smart Teachers want to call their students the name that they are most comfortable with. If Gertrudis has endured tons of insults on account of her birth name, doesn’t she have the right to be called what she likes to hear: Gertie or Trudy?<br />
2. Responsible Teachers want to know the best way to contact you. Does email work better for you? Is it okay to call you on your cell phone or can we leave a message on the home phone? Responsible teachers should provide students and parents with contact information, too.<br />
3. Curious Teachers want to know what stimulates your child’s growing mind. What makes him happy? What infuriates him? What social causes does he feel strongly about? Regardless of a child’s grade level, teachers want to know about their students’ personal interests, at the beginning of the year and ultimately by December!<br />
4. Good Teachers want to know how your child learns best.<br />
5. Observant Teachers want to know about the family situation. Does a child live with Mami and Papi? Or does he split his time between two homes because of a divorce? Do extended family members live there too? Some children emigrate from other countries and live with an aunt or uncle. Language barriers can prevent important school communication. Seek out staff members who speak Spanish, French, or the languages of the local community.<br />
6. Organized Teachers collect important data for every student. The academic histories of their students help them teach in a manner that suits individual student needs. Regular education teachers receive individualized education plans (I.E.P.’s) for students with delayed skills or disabilities. But why not be proactive and send an email to your child’s teacher with more details?<br />
7. Compassionate Teachers are concerned about the social and emotional wellbeing of their students. We notice when they are quieter than usual. And while students are entitled to a yucky days, loving teachers will notice if a student is becoming withdrawn. Be aware that we prefer to communicate privately with students in order to not embarrass them around their peers. But if we feel we cannot handle it, compassionate educators direct their students to the appropriate school staff members that can help.<br />
8. Culturally-Sensitive Teachers create an academic environment that celebrates the individual backgrounds of their students. Be it a language that they speak or read, or by just celebrating their heritage. We want your children to be comfortable and have pride in their languages and cultural ancestry.<br />
9. Tech-Savvy Teachers want their students to know why a social mover and shaker like Dr. Martin Luther King impacted American history. We know that learning from an old history textbook is downright nauseating. Tech-savvy teachers bring historical events to life. Take for example Martin Luther King’s Letter from Birmingham Jail, which just so happened to be written on the torn-up margins of an old newspaper! Check out The Library of Congress’ American Memory Collection.<br />
10. Community-Minded Teachers want your child to know that school life should extend beyond the classroom. We want your child to consider sports or the drama club or anything else that interests your child. He should seek to develop relationships with other students through volunteer work: i.e. raising money for clean water in developing countries, or by getting involved with Relay for Life to raise cancer awareness.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgziYJd9nE8T4HofoFLIwUqZRmVxmIwzyk7XX7mFl84DbCIT5eumv97xx5_MhVhMJpBXovmKa8a5dXbGIE95aA67qdSQJmdX4c5PibRm6DiXZxNHFv4aozy7e4xeenrQDBpvT1JSxm0yzo/s1600/Reading+Habbit.jpg" /></div>
10 Benefits of Reading: Why You Should Read Every Day<br />
1. Mental Stimulation<br />
Studies have shown that staying mentally stimulated can slow the progress of (or possibly even prevent) Alzheimer’s and Dementia, since keeping your brain active and engaged prevents it from losing power. Just like any other muscle in the body, the brain requires exercise to keep it strong and healthy, so the phrase “use it or lose it” is particularly apt when it comes to your mind. Doing puzzles and playing games such as chess have also been found to be helpful with cognitive stimulation.<br />
<br />
2. Stress Reduction<br />
No matter how much stress you have at work, in your personal relationships, or countless other issues faced in daily life, it all just slips away when you lose yourself in a great story. A well-written novel can transport you to other realms, while an engaging article will distract you and keep you in the present moment, letting tensions drain away and allowing you to relax.<br />
<br />
3. Knowledge<br />
Everything you read fills your head with new bits of information, and you never know when it might come in handy. The more knowledge you have, the better-equipped you are to tackle any challenge you’ll ever face.<br />
<br />
Additionally, here’s a bit of food for thought: should you ever find yourself in dire circumstances, remember that although you might lose everything else—your job, your possessions, your money, even your health—knowledge can never be taken from you.<br />
<br />
4. Vocabulary Expansion<br />
This goes with the above topic: the more you read, the more words you gain exposure to, and they’ll inevitably make their way into your everyday vocabulary. Being articulate and well-spoken is of great help in any profession, and knowing that you can speak to higher-ups with self-confidence can be an enormous boost to your self-esteem. It could even aid in your career, as those who are well-read, well-spoken, and knowledgeable on a variety of topics tend to get promotions more quickly (and more often) than those with smaller vocabularies and lack of awareness of literature, scientific breakthroughs, and global events.<br />
<br />
Reading books is also vital for learning new languages, as non-native speakers gain exposure to words used in context, which will ameliorate their own speaking and writing fluency.<br />
<br />
5. Memory Improvement<br />
When you read a book, you have to remember an assortment of characters, their backgrounds, ambitions, history, and nuances, as well as the various arcs and sub-plots that weave their way through every story. That’s a fair bit to remember, but brains are marvellous things and can remember these things with relative ease. Amazingly enough, every new memory you create forges new synapses (brain pathways)and strengthens existing ones, which assists in short-term memory recall as well as stabilizing moods. How cool is that?<br />
<br />
6. Stronger Analytical Thinking Skills<br />
Have you ever read an amazing mystery novel, and solved the mystery yourself before finishing the book? If so, you were able to put critical and analytical thinking to work by taking note of all the details provided and sorting them out to determine “whodunnit”.<br />
<br />
That same ability to analyze details also comes in handy when it comes to critiquing the plot; determining whether it was a well-written piece, if the characters were properly developed, if the storyline ran smoothly, etc. Should you ever have an opportunity to discuss the book with others, you’ll be able to state your opinions clearly, as you’ve taken the time to really consider all the aspects involved.<br />
<br />
7. Improved Focus and Concentration<br />
In our internet-crazed world, attention is drawn in a million different directions at once as we multi-task through every day. In a single 5-minute span, the average person will divide their time between working on a task, checking email, chatting with a couple of people (via gchat, skype, etc.), keeping an eye on twitter, monitoring their smartphone, and interacting with co-workers. This type of ADD-like behaviour causes stress levels to rise, and lowers our productivity.<br />
<br />
When you read a book, all of your attention is focused on the story—the rest of the world just falls away, and you can immerse yourself in every fine detail you’re absorbing. Try reading for 15-20 minutes before work (i.e. on your morning commute, if you take public transit), and you’ll be surprised at how much more focused you are once you get to the office.<br />
<br />
8. Better Writing Skills<br />
This goes hand-in-hand with the expansion of your vocabulary: exposure to published, well-written work has a noted effect on one’s own writing, as observing the cadence, fluidity, and writing styles of other authors will invariably influence your own work. In the same way that musicians influence one another, and painters use techniques established by previous masters, so do writers learn how to craft prose by reading the works of others.<br />
<br />
9. Tranquility<br />
In addition to the relaxation that accompanies reading a good book, it’s possible that the subject you read about can bring about immense inner peace and tranquility. Reading spiritual texts can lower blood pressure and bring about an immense sense of calm, while reading self-help books has been shown to help people suffering from certain mood disorders and mild mental illnesses.<br />
<br />
10. Free Entertainment<br />
Though many of us like to buy books so we can annotate them and dog-ear pages for future reference, they can be quite pricey. For low-budget entertainment, you can visit your local library and bask in the glory of the countless tomes available there for free. Libraries have books on every subject imaginable, and since they rotate their stock and constantly get new books, you’ll never run out of reading materials.<br />
<br />
If you happen to live in an area that doesn’t have a local library, or if you’re mobility-impaired and can’t get to one easily, most libraries have their books available in PDF or ePub format so you can read them on your e-reader, iPad, or your computer screen. There are also many sources online where you can download free e-books, so go hunting for something new to read!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEdnINXzxV3dJhfU72W6IrPx8TucgZT6jcHBpXbDhAt6w1tATZy5PIFINsMdG2P94B5EEqcXlazqrhDIwZW20jaVTs0eZE6syRLPXgNVZgCftEi6Ohj9djOdbVfp2u0gAQRYOcCtgl9Wo/s320/bad+grades.jpg" width="320" /></div>
Most Common Reasons Why High School Students Get Bad Grades<br />
High school may be a challenging time for many students, both socially and educationally. A student is exercising his new independence that he did not have in junior high. Receiving bad grades at this time could have a detrimental effect on a student's future goals and cause him to reluctantly accept new goals if he cannot raise his grades.<br />
Work Hours<br />
Once in high school, students may get part-time jobs to earn extra spending money or begin to save for college. It is important that the student learn how to manage his time and not work too many hours, since this interferes with study time. Working late-night hours makes the student inattentive during the school day, causing a drop in grade performance.<br />
Extracurricular Activities<br />
Extracurricular school activities are a great way to showcase talents and interact with peers. Signing up for too many extra activities may cause a student to procrastinate on assignments or simply be too busy with other activities to complete assignments. Some sports activities require students to practice daily after school. The student should develop a schedule for working on homework either before or after practice, but not wait until the last minute.<br />
Peer Pressure<br />
Students that choose to hang out with the "wrong crowd" may receive negative messages about school and develop apathy toward making high grades. This peer pressure may lead to other devastating effects besides low grades if an adult does not intervene. The student has to take control of her his success and seek new friends.<br />
Poor Study Habits<br />
Some students do not know how to study correctly and have never been taught this skill. Proper note-taking and review are important study components that the student uses beyond high school. Taking concise notes to document information and daily review may lead to higher grades. The student should seek the assistance of a teacher, parent or older sibling to discuss study methods.<br />
Lack of Comprehension<br />
The student may struggle because she does not understand the assignment or the course. In this case, she should discuss her lack of knowledge with the teacher to receive assistance. The teacher may assign a tutor or supplementary materials. Waiting too long to get help results in grades that cannot be raised.<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Top 10 new teaching techniques:</div>
<div>
<div>
Want more satisfied students? Vary your teaching techniques.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Get creative with new teaching techniques. Liven up your classes, and it could enhance your repeat rates. Encourage your teachers to think outside the box, try something new and don’t worry about failing.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Try one thing new each time.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The top new ‘wow’ teaching technique for 2015: have your students write on the windows in your classroom.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
From the latest Certificate in Teaching Adults class taught by LERN, participant Michelle Rickaby reports that one of her teachers has students write on the classroom windows. Here’s what she said,</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“The teacher told me that he gives the students pens (they must be white board pens) and the students each pick a window. They work their formulas on the windows! At the end of the evening they clean them off. He told me the students love it. (for a math class for adults, but could be used for other topics as well).</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“I talked to the teacher after the class and he told me another couple benefits to this method. The class has been in session for around 6 weeks (12 classes) and he observed that when he had students pairing up they were meeting for the first time. As they sit in class they don’t necessarily interact with each other so this gives them an opportunity to meet their classmates. Plus, he told me that when they sit on their own he observes that the cell phones are out and they might be texting or doing something else. When they are standing at the windows they are paying attention to the lessons and thinking about the lessons. They are not distracted by their phones.”</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Top 3 new teaching techniques for 2015 are:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1.Write on windows</div>
<div>
2.Students find the mistakes</div>
<div>
3.Include silly answers in quizzes</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here’s the Top 10 best new teaching techniques for 2015.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Students find the mistakes:</div>
<div>
<br />
Michele Rickaby has found this fun and useful exercise for her resume building course, but other teachers say the idea is so good it can be applied to many other kinds of courses as well.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“I have given a brief lesson on building a resume that was a lot of fun. I explained the key components of what should go into a good resume then shared one that I had made up. It was all wrong. I asked the students to tell me what was wrong. I had a crazy photo up in the corner. The email address was hotpants@hotmail.com (I’ve actually seen that used). Under references I put: Aunty Sue. I printed the resume on colored paper, etc. Once students started to identify what was wrong I would explain the reasons you don’t put your photo on a resume, use an unprofessional email address, make spelling errors, etc. It was a fun lesson and I think they realized the importance of their resume.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Another teacher added: I love the idea of having the students correct a document with some amusing (and I imagine obviously incorrect) content.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Silly answer quizzes:</div>
<div>
<br />
The more frequent you give your students quizzes, the more they learn. And they like it, especially when trainer Karla Peiffer adds silly answers.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“I also make it a point to provide a quiz at the end of every training session to reinforce new information that is presented or to emphasize a criteria that is perhaps not being followed. I like to add in silly answers to the quiz (1 multiple choice answer that is obviously not correct) to make it a little more fun and not have them take the quiz so seriously. We go over the quiz together to reinforce the correct answers. This provides a summary of the key points of the training session as well.”</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Frank Sattler has a little variation on the silly answer technique:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“Karla, your quiz sounds like something I would do. One answer that would just make the participants giggle. Sometimes I would put a joke or two between questions just to keep them motivated. As I would go over the quiz at the end of class many would comment about the jokes and how they wish they had that when they were in school.”</div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">
Fix the sick slides:</span></h4>
<div>
Sherryl Maglione has another variation on students finding errors, this one with some props.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“Grammar is necessary — we all know this and yet, with the advent of texting language, grammar may not be a critical part of people’s lives. We have all seen the ‘Let’s eat Grandpa’ and ‘Let’s eat, Grandpa’ poster. What I do to jazz up my grammar lessons is this: I went to the university bookstore and bought a white lab coat. On the lab coat, using fabric markers, I printed: Dr. Magz’ Writing Clinic. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased a toy doctor’s kit and some small candies. Then I prepared incorrect grammar slides on PowerPoint and was the ‘doctor’ for the first few slides. Students each took a turn being the doctor and ‘treating’ the ‘sick grammar’ on the slides and when a student in the class knew the correct answer or fix to the grammar ‘symptom’, the student received a candy from Dr. Grammar. It is a very fun way to have students participate and I can remember one class especially because when the class was over, the students were saying, ‘Are you kidding me? I cannot believe that this class went so fast!’ That was awesome for them!”</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Select a travel partner:</div>
<div>
<br />
Wanda Jones has fun, and so do her students, with this one.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“One of the activities I like to do is have them to select a ‘travel’ partner. To do this activity, I give each of them a sheet of paper that has pictures 4 different modes of transportation on it, such as a boat, airplane, car, or bicycle. At the beginning of the session I give them time to go around the room to meet someone they do not know and to sign up a person for method of transportation. Once they have completed this task, they hold onto the sheet until time for discussions in which they get up and locate the person they identified for a specific mode of transportation. For example, I may ask them to locate their “boat” partner to discuss the topic we are addressing at the time. When we come back together as a group, they can share their ideas together with the whole group or individually. It is up to them how they share and what they share.”</div>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">
Pair-work: Take charge:</span> </h4>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Pamela Horowitz suggests:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I do like to have my students do pair-work. This enables them to help each other and take charge of their learning.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Teacher for the day:</div>
<div>
<br />
Having your students help teach each other is one of the all-time best teaching techniques. Most recently, teacher Pamela Horowitz noted, “At times, I have had each student be ‘teacher for the day,’ but they are usually reluctant to do this, stating that they are not teachers. I politely disagree with them, and they give it a try.”</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Repeat tasks 3-4 times:</div>
<div>
<br />
Jeanise Demitri adds,</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“I have the students do a task three or four times to get them use to the sequence. Having them repeat a task has always worked very well for the students. “</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Theme for the month:</div>
<div>
<br />
Chrystie Backus does this:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
“I create a theme for the month, such as Holiday Recipes or Gardening, and then poll the class to see what types of things they would like more information about, any activities they would like to learn, or anything specific they would like to try. I then incorporate these ideas into the course material.”</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Funny socks:</div>
<div>
<br />
Chrystie Bockus reports, “I wear funny socks, especially when teaching. Great conversation starter.”</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjENEWqToCB3ScujYgAXGufmltWPlbUJQaff9yeEzo6BUJym0UGOFZsD31OaA45b8ImLJoo_Xz60xWQTBTvOHE1lkZO5GdXbJSyzAMIGU6qNDvOEuhfbpH-XKY5l_kOIX3kBd9YRGY4bwY/s1600/study.png" /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Study Habits for College Students:</div>
<div>
Realizing "How to Study" can be one of the best ventures of your time as far as get ready to do a reversal to class or enhancing your evaluations while you are in school. The best part is that anybody that genuinely needs to enhance their following so as to learn procedure can do as such a couple of fundamental standards of time administration, association and prioritization. In this post, we are going to talk about with you, 10 successful instruments and examine propensities for understudies that need to enhance their GPA (grade point normal) or ensure they begin their scholastic vocation off on the right commentary.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
A specific time and place</div>
<div>
<br />
Having a set place and time to study can make all the difference. Students who don’t practice this technique tend to be more stressed about homework and studying because they are never sure how or where they are going to study. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Time Management</div>
<div>
<br />
No matter how much you might wish differently, there are only so many hours in a day you can devote to studying. So it’s important that you prioritize your time before you start studying each and every study session. Start with the more difficult tasks and material you have in front of you for the study session.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Make the mood</div>
<div>
<br />
Only you know what works for you. Do you do better with some light background music? Or by having a little snack before you begin? Maybe you study better in the early afternoon, or between classes. Maybe you’re a night owl that does their best work between 1 and 3 in the morning. No matter what “mood” you set though, the most important part of this step is being honest with yourself and how you work to maximize efficiency.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Assigned reading list</div>
<div>
<br />
Nothing makes a class more enjoyable then walking in with a good understanding of the material before the instructor even opens their mouth to speak. Reading the material ahead of time also gives you the opportunity to make some notes before class and make sure any questions you have get addressed in class. Bring your reading notes to class and augment any areas the instructor highlights or spends lots of time on that you missed in your notes.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
How to read as a student</div>
<div>
<br />
Most students will approach a reading assignment in the same old fashioned method…open the book to chapter 1, begin reading. By the time they get to the end of the chapter though, their retention and comprehension is low. In order to answer the review questions, they must go back and re-read the chapter scanning for answers. Although this can be marginally successful at times, try this method instead; Turn to the end of the chapter and read the chapter summary first and then read all of the review questions. Then go back and read the entire chapter. I’ll bet your understanding of the material and the retention of the material is way better this time!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Be a part of class discussion</div>
<div>
<br />
Ask open ended questions. Join the discussion. The point here is that if you are involved in the class discussions you will be paying attention to what the instructor and others are talking about.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
A study group</div>
<div>
<br />
when you find the right study group it can really help you with difficult topics and course material. Remember the old saying “two heads are better than one, three heads are better than two…”. Very true in this case.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Don't be hesitate to ask for help</div>
<div>
<br />
Sooner or later everyone runs into a course that they just struggle with. The material seems too far over their head, the math is too advanced, the instructor is too hard, whatever the reason; most people struggle with one or more classes sometime in their academic career. Don’t let the frustration, anger or fear of failure stop you from getting help. Seek out your instructor and ask for some one on one time. If they can’t or won’t give it to you, ask if there are any school sponsored tutor programs, organized study groups or other resources that might help. Chances are help is within reach if you simply ask for it!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Don’t let life get in the way of your dreams</div>
<div>
<div>
<br />
Work, kids, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, friends, etc…</div>
<div>
They can all be a GREAT support system. They can also be a tremendous drag on your time, energy and stamina. Make sure they know what your priority is. Why it’s your priority, and that you will make any adjustments necessary to your personal life in order to complete your goal.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Don’t CRAM for exams</div>
<div>
<br />
Every now and then you may have a late night finishing a paper or working on a project that needs to be completed, but applying the above techniques on a consistent and steady routine will more than prepare you for quizzes, mid-terms and finals. You should only need to review your notes for the course a few times before an exam. In other words, if you apply these steps, you should not need to cram!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOU40RywgZlsAwYbHsmmjNQgh9Oqdj2r_r_UWFWUVXaSn6jfG6eZzqZeheAY6V2vAcRd26YIpQHktpi_ordE9iQ03dBLAQINXTp1NVPxmli3TGXB239maiTaVYeeTvbIk_wGpfE9c78tE/s1600/career.jpg" /></div>
Five Ways to Better Prepare Students for Careers:<br />
1. Encourage Teamwork<br />
One of the biggest things that students today need to succeed at work is the ability to work as a team. They need to understand how to communicate, compromise and share credit so that they can be a valuable contributing member to projects. This can be taught in school by encouraging teamwork on some projects and assignments.<br />
<br />
“Working in silos is counterproductive for adulthood. Nearly all jobs now are a team effort. Employers want people who understand how to manage a project, how to deliver a product on time and on budget, and how to work in teams with little or no oversight. Schools undermine that when they teach that working with your neighbor is cheating,” said Beaven.<br />
<br />
<br />
2. Be Future-Focused<br />
In many ways, real life begins at graduation for students -- they begin to put their knowledge into use and manage their own finances and life plans. So schools should focus not just on whether students have learned material, but where it will take students later. Will they be a financial, career and personal success because of what they learned? And when students ask, “Will I ever even use this in real life?” have an answer -- and an example of why they will.<br />
<br />
“Right now our schools measure knowledge gain from one year to the next. Conversely, students (even really good ones) come to school as a means to an end. It is a stepping stone to their life goals. We need to bring those two values together. In fact, schools will never realize the full power of their influence on the economic health of our nation until they start measuring post-graduation success,” explained Beaven.<br />
<br />
<br />
3. Teach Complex Thinking Skills<br />
In the workplace, it’s not just about getting to the right end, but getting there by the best path. This is something that can be reinforced in high school by giving students context for decision-making and solving problems.<br />
<br />
“[Jobs in the modern workplace] require innovation, creativity, and the ability to look at a task and not only see the outcome, but also imagine different ways to achieve it. This is why I really like international affairs, politics and even complex math,” said Marder, who is a recent graduate.<br />
<br />
<br />
4. Prep for College and Career<br />
Although college is extremely important to many careers, it’s not for everyone or every career. For that reason, schools need to offer courses that will prepare students for wherever they are going in life -- and that means offering both college and career preparation. Further, kids need life skills like civics knowledge and the ability to balance a checkbook.<br />
<br />
“There needs to be a range of educational options for students because of the great diversity in both the population and the workplace. Career academies and more traditional vocational education have a big role to play in preparing the next generation of workers,” said Rothstein.<br />
<br />
<br />
5. Round Out the Curriculum<br />
There is no one magic solution that will prepare students today for tomorrow’s workforce, but giving them a well-rounded education including arts; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM); history and communications courses can help.<br />
<br />
“STEM is integral to solving practical problems, but STEM alone is not enough. Music and the arts encourage creativity and innovation while underlining self-discipline and providing individual insights into science and math. History informs us of the struggles and successes of past innovators. Communication helps us ask questions, customize our learning, and spark our passions,” said Collias.<br />

Ten Common Problems Students Face in College:<br />
While time spent at college is a fond memory and a happy experience for most, the student life is not without its rough patches. Everyone's situation is unique, but there are a few problems that almost all college students deal with at least once during their time at school.<br />
<br />
If you are on your way to college, get a jump on how to deal with the challenges that may come your way.<br />
<br />
1. Time Management<br />
<br />
Problem: College is academically challenging. For many, college courses require much more effort than high school classes did. Unlike most high schools, colleges often pack two years of content into one year. Many students take a full 15 credit semester, while others try to cram in up to 18 or even 21 credits. At times, it seems impossibe to stay on top of it all.<br />
<br />
Solution: Know your limits. If you can't handle 18 credits in one semester, it is worth it in the long run to slow down and take only 15. While the purpose of a college education is to learn as much as you can, that doesn't mean studying all the time. It is important to schedule time for fun and to take breaks to keep your mind fresh and clear. For more ways to manage this kind of academic stress, see this guide of effective study habits.<br />
<br />
2. Debt<br />
<br />
Problem: Tuition costs are rising at alarmingly high rates. Add to that the cost of housing, meals, supplies, transportation, and textbooks, and you have a recipe for unmanageable debt. Most financial advisors recommend borrowing no more than one expects to earn their first year out of college. However, soaring tuition costs make this rule difficult to follow. According to an article in U.S. News, almost half of today's students say that the cost is making them reconsider finishing their degree. Students are increasingly dropping out of college because they cannot afford the expense. Others are forced to juggle full academic schedules with full-time jobs to make ends meet. Graduating debt-free is almost unheard of.<br />
<br />
Solution: Student loans are relatively easy to get. Many students, however, don't know how repayment works and how many years they may spend paying off their loans. This lack of understanding only adds to the stress. An important part of your education is educating yourself about the structure of the loans you take on to pay for that education. Sit down with a financial advisor to get a firm grasp on the debt you're taking on.<br />
<br />
Consider an on-campus job. Working on-campus will cut out potential transportation expenses and help you stay more focused academically. If you had a job in high school and are going to college locally, see if you can continue working while in school. If you are going away to school, inquire about transferring to a job location near your school. In addition, create a budget for shopping trips and eating out and stick to it.<br />
<br />
3. Spreading Yourself Too Thin<br />
<br />
Problem: To afford the high price of college tuition, many students must get jobs. Juggling a job, 15 to 18 credits, relationships, and extracurricular activities is extremely difficult. Many students try to cram all of these activities into one day and do not get enough sleep. Without proper rest, students are vulnerable to physical and mental health problems.<br />
<br />
Solution: Decide what is important. Prioritize and schedule events, games, meetings, social events, and studies accordingly. Also, be aware of your options when getting a job. Universities often offer jobs that fit into a student's schedule.<br />
<br />
4. Homesickness<br />
<br />
Problem: Whether they admit it or not, most students will at one point get homesick, especially those who attend a school that is more than three hours away from home. Freshmen suffer more, as it is presumably their first year away from home.<br />
<br />
Solution: If you live within three or four hours from home (a comfortable day's drive), plan to visit home once every month or two. Ask friends and family to email, call, and send care packages. These steps should greatly assist in reducing feelings of homesickness.<br />
<br />
Many campuses have support groups for students. Talking to others who are having similar experiences can help. You may even form friendships with some of the people you meet there. Remember that the other students you come into contact with every day may be feeling the same things you are, and you can help each other.<br />
<br />
5. Depression<br />
<br />
Problem: Every problem on this list can raise a student's stress level and contribute to emotional lows. Some find temporary relief in partying which, in excess and in the long run, may contribute to depression.<br />
<br />
Solution: If stress and depression are an issue, seek professional support. Many campuses have free counseling programs for students. Counselors are trained to listen and help students get back on track.<br />
<br />
6. Sickness/Health Conditions<br />
<br />
Problem: Heightened stress, poor self-care, and lack of sleep can cause health problems. Living in close quarters also poses health risks and can increase a student's chances of contracting illnesses.<br />
<br />
Solution: Eat healthy, balanced meals. Get a good night's rest as well. Wash your hands often. If an illness does develop, visit your campus clinic.<br />
<br />
7. Social Problems<br />
<br />
Problem: If you're lucky, you'll make many new friends. Establishing connections and spending time with classmates and roommates is important for building community. However, spending too much time together can be challenging, and conflicts can arise. Social relations can become a distraction.<br />
<br />
Solution: Take some time out for yourself. If possible, get away from campus for a break and visit a coffee shop or a mall, take a walk in a neighborhood, or visit a local park. Prioritize time for studying and taking care of yourself. If conflicts do arise and you need help, get your RA or another friend involved.<br />
<br />
8. Partying<br />
<br />
Problem: Partying in itself is not a problem. Parties can be a great way for students to blow off steam. However, sometimes partying can cause problems. Drugs and alcohol can lead to poor choices, risky behavior, health risks, and even potentially deadly situations. Having sex without sober consent and without taking the necessary precautions can be traumatic, dangerous, and even criminal.<br />
<br />
Solution: While parties are important, enjoy them in a responsible and legal way so you don't create problems for yourself or others. Know your limits. Ask for a ride home if you've been drinking. Keep track of your friends and make sure they're being safe, too. Make sure to eat and drink enough water when consuming alcohol. Carry a condom. Understand what it means to have "affirmative consent."<br />
<br />
9. Relationships<br />
<br />
Problem: Relationships are good, but they can be overwhelming. Sometimes they take a lot of time and can begin to encroach on your education. There are times in every relationship when a couple will have a disagreement which can distract them from schoolwork and add to stress levels. Break-ups can drive some students even further into depression.<br />
<br />
Solution: Relationship advice is hard to give, since the solution varies on a case-by-case basis. Establish a clear communication of your needs and expectations from the outset. If you do break up, consult with a school counselor to work through the experience.<br />
<br />
10. Choosing a Major<br />
<br />
Problem: There is a lot of pressure to choose a major. It is easy to think that your major will determine your future career and how much money you will make, which means that making the right decision now feels hugely important (and stressful).<br />
<br />
Solution: College majors are important, but they do not chisel your future career or wages into stone. Choose something that you like. If you are unsure about what major to choose, choose something broad and versatile, such as communications. Many students who get their undergraduate degrees in one field progress to get a Master's degree in a different area. Worrying too much about your major is simply not worth it. Focus instead on gaining knowledge and life skills.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The education system in Lahore is systematized along peculiar modern, religious, cultural, social, psychological and scientific injunctions. Lahore is the Pakistan’s largest producer of education in all fields. The current literacy rate of Lahore is 64%. The standard national system of education is inspired from the British System. Lahore, likely majority of the cities in Pakistan has both public and private education institutions.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
In our country, students face a lot of complications during their educational career. They are the most unguided students in the world. Neither the parent due to their vagueness due to which they can’t chose proper subject and proper filed nor the teachers due to lack of professionalism are able to guide them. Lack of guidance is very serious problem which students face.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The purpose of early education is to instigate in to the students an interest of education but children are taught by untrained teachers in their early stage, so they lose interest in education. The high expectation of families and absence of guidance affects the ability of the students. Lack of professionals and well educated faculty has definitely resulted in the poor grooming of students’ personality. Every country of the world has established its own well oriented educational system according to needs.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
In Lahore and all other famous cities of Pakistan private education institutions as compare to public education institutions are suppose better. In private educational institutions number of institution has number of students in each class. Due to this many students lose the study concentration. And it becomes the result of bad grades. Then the student lose his temper about studies. Besides teachers try their best to help and teach all the students properly, but all time position not same in our human mind mentally. In this situation fault is not in both of them. In nutshell many of students not perform well in their studies.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
On the other sides number of academies are exist in our city. Which of them are best academies of the city and numerous are useless. In spite of that they show huge promises the best grades in studies in pamphlets and in other marketing strategies.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
To reduce these problematic obstacles, we have begun a new effort of home tuition. The students those are not take concentrate in their education institution with any reason, for all of them the home tuition is the best way.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Lahore home tuition is the platform, where teachers are professional in their respective subjects. We provide our best to solve the hindrance of students. And feel them free about their education problem. </div>
